architecture photohgraphy- artist- dubai photographer- Masih Mostajeran

“Masih Mostajeran  is an architectural photographer, artist, and co-founder and Art Director of Deed Studio, a Dubai-based practice specializing in architectural photography. Born in Iran and currently based in the UAE, he has over thirteen years of professional experience documenting architecture across the Middle East and beyond.

He has collaborated with internationally recognized architects and architectural firms and was selected as an official photographer for the Aga Khan Award for Architecture in both the 2022 and 2025 cycles. His work has received international recognition, including awards from Architizer in three cycle in a row and the Architecture MasterPrize, and has been exhibited at venues such as Northlight Gallery in Arizona, CLB Berlin, ZK/U Berlin, Raf Projects, and KAAF Institute in Tehran.

Alongside his professional practice, Masih develops independent photographic research focusing on the relationship between light, space, and perception. His work explores architecture not as a static object, but as a temporal and experiential condition shaped by light, atmosphere, and absence.

Beyond architecture, his artistic practice extends into independent photographic projects engaging with urban space, human presence, and the evolving relationship between individuals and their environments. Through a balance of documentation and abstraction, his work moves between architectural representation and broader spatial narratives.
